PROJECT CONCEPT
SKY LOUNGE – A RESEDENTIAL MULTISTORIED COMPLEX AT PUNE
The design is conceived over five (5) acres of gently sloping land on 80 feet wide road running parallel to Mutha river in Kalyaninagar– a posh residential locality of Pune.
The site offers an excellent view of the river as well as the advantage of cool westerly breeze.
The client brief was simple and mainly consisted of various sizes of condominiums (apartments) with all supporting recreational and community facilities with adequate parking with large open landscaped areas. The apartment types vary from two BHK to four BHK and penthouses at top levels.
SITE PLAN
The layout of the project is developed based on the following considerations:

All the apartment towers are located so as to offer a view of the raised central landscaped area.

All the apartment floors are elevated from the ground so as to offer maximum covered parking in addition to the basement parking.

The towers are arranged and linked up with consideration of maximum family privacy from adjoining building units as well as obtaining natural light and ventilation for dwelling units.

Smaller pockets of greens are also created by skillful arrangement of buildings to cater for the children’s play area and other recreational facilities.

The main entrances are designed with water bodies and fountains and lawn as welcoming features.
THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF SKY LOUNGE which make it different form other projects.

Porch of every building, designed on contemporary lines, not only offers sheltered entry to inhabitants but also acts as an element of sculpture, adding to the beauty of buildings.

The large entrance lounge for every building is designed as 100 feet high atrium with skylights which makes it grand and offers a unique experience of space.

A glass capsule lift forms part of the atrium offering view of the main landscaped garden.

Ambulatory connecting corridors to apartment units, overlooking the grand atrium lounge below replaces a conventional lift & stair lobby.

Large sit-outs and terraces designed as semi-covered living areas form part of every apartment unit.

A family lounge in addition to living hall and dining spaces in every apartment makes it a unique dwelling unit.

Apartment units are developed keeping in mind the functional needs of occupants as well responding to the climatic conditions using natural light and cross ventilation.
The SKY LOUNGE would surely become a proud possession for its occupants as it will continuously offer the comforts of living conditions resulting with all the above characteristics.
